Wheel cleaning with Wheel and Wheel Spray Forte
Always start before the vehicle wash
So the result of the car wash isn't ruined right away, always start with wheel cleaning. Brake dust can cause lasting damage to rim surfaces – only regular, thorough care keeps the rims as highlights of your automobile.
Using Wheel wheel cleaner concentrate
1. Rinse the rims thoroughly with a strong water jet.
2. Fill the Mixing Bottle with Wheel concentrate up to the "1" mark. Top up with water: "1:1" for heavy, "1:2" or "1:3" for normal soiling.
3. Spray the rims generously and clean immediately with the Wheel Brush and/or Micro-Wash.
4. Rinse the rims with a strong water jet and dry after the vehicle wash.
Using Wheel Spray Forte
Wheel Spray Forte is an extremely effective wheel cleaner with a coloured working indicator. Acid-free and nearly pH-neutral – safe for aluminium rims, painted rims and wire wheels.
1. Spray the rims generously. The product turns reddish-violet after the cleaning phase (working indicator).
2. Rinse off with a strong water jet.
3. Dry the rims after the vehicle wash.
Wheel sealing, tyre shine and whitewall care
Autobahn wheel wax – PTFE sealant
Autobahn gives rims a fine shine and acts as a dirt repellent. Brake dust, salt, moisture and road dirt can hardly penetrate the protective layer of heat-resistant Carnauba wax with PTFE. Suitable for aluminium, polished aluminium, magnesium, chrome and painted rims.
Application
1. Clean the rims thoroughly.
2. Pre-treat new rims with Cleaner Fluid Regular. Used rims first with Paint Rubber, then with Cleaner Fluid Regular.
3. Apply Autobahn wheel wax with the Schwammapplikator black.
4. Let it act for about 10 minutes.
5. Buff to a gloss with the Micro-Polish blue. Turn the cloth while doing so.
Pneu tyre shine
Pneu is an emulsion of gloss and care agents that replaces lost moisture in the rubber compound and protects against discolouration and cracking.
Application
1. Clean the tyres and let them dry.
2. Spray Pneu onto the tyre sidewalls or apply with the Pneu Brush.
3. Let it act for 5 minutes. The milky-white film turns into a deep-black finish.
4. Wipe off any splashes on rims or chrome with a clean cloth.
Important: Do not use on two-wheeled vehicles – risk of slipping!
Pneu White – whitewall tyre cleaner
Pneu White removes soiling and yellowing from whitewall tyres.
Application
1. Use rubber gloves and eye protection.
2. Spray Pneu White onto a Pneu White Pad.
3. Clean the whitewall thoroughly and rinse with clean water. Repeat if the yellowing is heavy.
4. Let it dry and finally spray on with Pneu tyre shine.
