Combating counterfeit products

SWISSVAX takes a stand against counterfeiting

What is SWISSVAX doing in the fight against counterfeiting?

The fight against counterfeiting is a major concern for SWISSVAX. SWISSVAX defends its intellectual property rights (such as copyrights & trademarks) by, among other things, taking legal action against counterfeiters and cooperating with local authorities.

The fight against counterfeiting is not only about protecting our
brand image. It's also about protecting our know-how and the quality of
our products, and protecting consumers from products that may pose a
health risk.

In doing so, there is one way to ensure that the items are genuine: Buy exclusively from certified SWISSVAX dealers and partners.

SWISSVAX ceaselessly monitors the Internet for websites, e-commerce marketplaces and social networks that sell counterfeit goods or help give counterfeit products higher visibility. Every year, SWISSVAX successfully removes websites, ads on sales platforms and pages on social networks that infringe its rights.

We also work directly with the main e-commerce marketplaces and
social networks to achieve better cooperation in cleaning up their
websites and proactively filtering ads to make counterfeits less
visible.

How can you tell if a SWISSVAX product is genuine?

Unfortunately, SWISSVAX cannot provide the public with detailed information on how to recognize genuine SWISSVAX products, as this information could be used by product counterfeiters. However, the rule of thumb here is also: If the offer is too good to be true, you are likely to be sold a counterfeit product. This applies to both conventional retailers and online retailers.

If you have any questions or would like to report a counterfeit product, please email our customer service team at customerservice@swissvax.com.

A few additional tips:

Location - Only buy from an authorized SWISSVAX
dealer. Items sold at flea markets, private events or unauthorized
websites are likely to be counterfeit.

Price - The quality of a genuine SWISSVAX item determines its price. If the price seems very low, it is probably a fake.

Details - Counterfeiters often make mistakes with
the details of the products. Poor quality of packaging, spelling
mistakes or errors in the logo or low quality of printing of labels
often indicate fakes.
